Morning clouds give way to breaks of afternoon sun
SUNDAY
Good Sunday morning.
We'll start things off grey and gloomy. As the day progresses, drier air filters in from the northeast. This will bring us breaks of afternoon sun. Afternoon highs should mostly reach into the 70s.
It'll feel more pleasant too, thanks to a break in the humidity. The only chance for storms looks to be on the West Virginia-Virginia line during the afternoon.
MONDAY-TUESDAY
Low pressure moves offshore, allowing drier, more comfortable air to filter into the area. We’ll begin in the 50s Monday and Tuesday mornings. Monday will reach the 70s under a mix of clouds and sun. Tuesday features more sunshine and highs in the low to mid 80s.
WEDNESDAY ONWARD
A front comes through Wednesday, teaming up with our warmth and humidity to bring scattered showers and storms by the evening and on Thursday.
Highs reach the 80s. If this front moves east, we’ll be drier later in the week. However, if it stalls a bit, we’ll keep the chance for showers and storms in the forecast Thursday and Friday.
