We had the best time at Country Store in Floyd… I wish we could have stayed for the live music but we had to get back to the station to get ready for the 11:00pm news cast.
We got through the first part of the news cast and then there was some pretty serious lightning. When the person behind the camera says he could feel and hear the strike you don’t ask questions when they tell you to disconnect your mic just in case.
The people were great and so was the ice cream. If you are ever driving through Floyd and you like peach ice cream then the Country Store is the perfect stop.
I also picked up a little gift for my husband for his birthday… Thanks Floyd for hosting us.
