In the last few years I have become more aware of the signs of time.. some say wrinkles add character… my mom calls them laugh lines.. she has always said that I laugh with my eyes.. well now that I am in my 30’s it is obvious to me that I have been laughing a lot over the last few decades….
As we were in our afternoon meeting we were talking about that dietary supplement called “Emergen-C” and all of its benefit claims… as someone mentioned the Vitamin C…. and how good it was for… among other things our skin… I said out loud, “...then I would just like to take it and scrub my face with it as opposed to drink it…” I wouldn’t actually do it but… the thought has crossed my mind…
I always circle all of the latest creams and serums in my magazines that are available and supposedly have amazing skin benefits… just in case I want to try one out…
Back to the meeting… someone then made the comment that women get haggard and men get distinguished… I conjured up a fact that I “think” I read somewhere a long time ago about how men don’t get as many wrinkles because they shave everyday and that helps to “super-exfoliate” their faces… someone joked and made a motion and laughed at the thought of me shaving my face… I said, “The thought has crossed my mind…”
However, I think it would be a little difficult and embarrassing to try to explain a nick on my chin or around my lip to my husband… my co-workers.. or our viewers..
