The four day break was great

My “Thanksgiving break” was a good one…

The “pre-lit” Christmas Tree is up… that was a little bit of an ordeal because at first only the bottom section had lights that worked… Matt was outside putting the wreath on the front of the house as I was trying to get the tree to work… when I told him about the problems I was having he said I needed to “check the bulbs”  - not sure if he realized just how many bulbs are on our tree…  I went back inside and thought… what am I checking them for?? They all looked the same… he came inside and got an extension cord to plug different parts into to see if we could narrow down which section had the problem… after he had changed two fuses that did not seem to help or hurt the situation.. as we continued to narrow down the sections.. we realized all of the sections seemed to be working… turns out I had not plugged the proper sections together in the first place… all of the sudden the whole thing lit up and Matt said “Tree is fixed!”  (It seemed to be a bit of a Christmas Vacation Chevy Chase moment)  I was just glad that it was working…

We ventured out to do a little bit of shopping on Friday… not anything too crazy… just picked up a couple of things in Roanoke… had lunch and headed back home…

Last night we saw The Blind Side and it was a great movie… then we got home in time to see the amazing end to the Ravens/Steelers game…
