Sunscreen concerns - Are you kidding?!

It seems there is always something to be concerned about.. some new research.. or study that takes everything we have always thought was true and   correct and just puts a big dent in it…  of all things to be concerned about sunscreen has never been something on my list of worries… maybe concerned that I am not diligent enough about it until this year…

I take an antibiotic for my skin and have been very careful to wear plenty of sunscreen… I was also proud of the fact that something had caused me to be more dedicated to wearing sunscreen all over my body.. not just my face…

I have talked to people in the past who have had severe and deadly complications from melanoma.. so the idea that the one thing we all think protects us most could be making the risk for skin cancer worse is beyond disturbing…  I am eager to hear the FDA’s findings regarding data about the chemical “retinyl palmitate” and its interpretation of research that finds it caused tumors to develop up to 21 percent faster in lab animals that were coated with it as opposed to those that weren’t.
