While going to the beach is my all time favorite vacation - Smith Mountain Lake is a very close second… and may even be a tie… Matt gave me a gift certificate for a massage that I have yet to have time to schedule - I made my appointment today for next week… the laundry is nearly caught up… it is so hard to resist doing work around the house during vacation time off…. other than that - we are saving money - getting to enjoy where we live (typically we are so busy working that it can be hard to allow for a lot of free time fun at home) and our little dog will be happy to see us each and every day…
My mom usually house and pet sits for us when we go out of town… even though Luckie dog loves my mom as much as she loves him - she says he gets a little irritated at us after we are gone for a few days… we are cooking out tomorrow - Jeff says there may be one or two stray rain clouds around - I hope they are not near our house… we have a tent just in case… will be back at work on the 17th…
