I have been contemplating running the Richmond marathon in November… I am almost definite about signing up… “almost definite” is not the best combination of words but you get the picture…
My drive to work is right at 26.2 miles…that usually takes me about 40 minutes to cover in a car… as I sit and think about trying to actually run to work… the trip is a daunting one… granted there are a lot of hills on my drive but it is still a long way…
At the end of my third half marathon in VAB this year there is no way I could have done another 13.1 miles… but I hadn’t trained for 26.2 I had only trained for 13.1… My running partner, Alison has already signed up for the November 14th race so I feel like my entry is inevitable.. that being said - I am not looking forward to long runs in the heat… I may have to get up before the sun just to keep from getting dehydrated… today was a scorcher and I only ran 4 miles…
