My father in law planted an entire garden that ended up ruined because of all of the rain… he passed along five small pepper plants when he was finished… a couple of years ago I tried so hard to grow tomatoes and peppers in our backyard… they never really ripened the way I thought they should… so when I got these pepper plants I decided I didn’t want to fool with digging holes and putting up fencing… I grabbed an old empty pot.. dumped some potting soil in it… slapped those pepper plants in the dirt and have watered them fairly regularly…
I didn’t expect the plants to amount to much but when I got back from the beach my mom told me that there were several peppers on the stems… I counted and there are now 15 of them… not enough to open up my own produce stand… but proof that sometimes less is more… when it comes to fussing over plants
