I carpooled with two other women to a local event tonight because we knew parking would be scarce… when we got to the store there were no spaces to be found… not only that but an SUV had taken up two spaces on purpose right outside the front door… and then as we drove to a nearby parking lot… a Jag was parked at a sharp slant… also taking up two spaces… Are you kidding me?!?!?!
Who is obnoxious enough to think that they deserve two spaces for their vehicle… let alone that they deserve two spaces on a busy night when there are dozens of people who would just be happy with one…
When we got inside the store I wanted to make two announcements 1.) To whomever is driving the double-parked SUV outside… “Your car really isn’t nice enough to deserve those two spaces.” 2.) To whomever is driving the Jag… “Yours is.. but could you pick a different night to come out to this particular store since you clearly have no need for coupons or special offers with such a ridiculously extravagant car.”
