The only other time I have been to a bowl game or big game for the Hokies in when I was a sophomore at VT - we went to the Independence Bowl and I had a great time.. but since then I haven’t been able to watch any of the games in person… I was either working… or the one bowl game I covered…Sugar Bowl in New Orleans… I got to watch from the comfort of my hotel room after delivering equipment to the stadium for the sports crew because there weren’t enough press passes to go around…
That being said.. my husband and I decided at the beginning of the season that if Tech went to the ACC Championship in Charlotte we would make the trip to see them… I am so excited I can barely wait and we haven’t even been picked yet… so here’s to the Hokies beating Miami this weekend… I don’t care by how much… just hope they get the win and I am sure the rest of the Hokie Nation is feeling the same way right now :)
