It’s not too early to get your team together for the Jingle Bell Run

I know it is hard to think about Christmas and Jingle Bells when we haven’t even gotten through Halloween and Thanksgiving.. but now is the time to form your team or enter as an individual before the entry fee goes up.

WSLS 10 has been a sponsor for the event for years… and I have been honored to help as emcee with Q99s David Page for the past 8-10 years or so and each year the event seems to get better.  It is exciting to be a part of an event that helps raise money for better treatments and possibly a cure for a condition that is painful and limiting.

My grandmother lived with the pain of arthritis and now when I look at my mothers hands I see it has put its mark on her as well… she told me the other day that her hands and fingers just don’t work the way they used to… but arthritis doesn’t just affect us as we age.. people of all ages deal with different forms of the condition…

This year is the 20th anniversary and as part of the planning committee… I can assure you we are working very hard to make it one of the best years ever.  We have found a way to work in the original elf logo into the shirts which are kind of a “throw back” to the first year and this year we have added a technical shirt option for those who are interested in paying a little extra to have a sweat-wicking shirt that will come in handy on future runs.

Here is a link to the website to sign up or forming a team is easy and can make the whole day that much more fun.
