Last year I entered a raffle at work to be in the running for two spots on a team for the Walt Disney Half Marathon in Orlando… I did not get one of those two spots.. well this evening I got word that through my work I have been invited to participate this year!!
I signed up for the Blue Ridge Half Marathon a several weeks ago so I have already been loosely training for that April 2012 event.. I just need to kick my running up a notch and I should have no problems finishing the Disney Half on January 7th…
It will be half marathon number 5… with Blue Ridge.. being 6… and Divas half number 7… kind of funny I went from running no half marathon this year to being signed up for three of them next year…
I have never been to Disney World so this is a treat… I am going to make plans for Matt to join me and his response was,“That sounds great… I need some Florida in my January!”
