I don’t always take the time or get a chance to check out Hotel Roanoke around the holidays… but I was there tonight and couldn’t help but take a picture of the fabulous tree.. the lobby smells like Christmas.. and by that I mean the most wonderful fresh pine scent was all over…
I don’t like “pine scented” anything.. candles.. air fresheners.. but there is something about the fresh smell of a pine tree that is refreshing and made me smile… I just hate that Christmas will come a go in a flash and then we will have a couple of months of bitter cold before the spring thaw…
I still need to put boxes in the attic from decorating for Christmas at the house.. by the time I get them up there it will be time to pull them back out…
Don’t forget WSLS 10’s Jay Warren will be lightin the Roanoke City Christmas Tree with Mayor David Bowers during our 6:00pm news Friday December 2nd… if you can’t make it out to the festivities in person you will be able to enjoy it from the comfort of your warm living room.
