Hibiscus help

First, I killed “Hairy” a green hanging plant that Matt had for years before we even met… (As I moved it to get a better angle to water it - it slipped out of my hand - dumped dirt all over the carpet and basically ripped all of the green limbs to pieces)

Then, the Peace Lilly is nearly “Resting in Peace” - even after advice from many of you on how to save it… nothing has worked (I am ashamed to show the picture)  I had over watered it and put it in too much sunlight.

Now, a plant I am nicknaming “Hibbi” is on its way out I fear… we have had this hibiscus plant for two summers now - the first winter I brought it inside… paid it very little attention… and it came back beautiful last summer—this winter - I brought it inside put it in a different room that gets morning light not afternoon sun and may have neglected my watering routine a little bit… long story short it is completely brown… not a glimmer of green on it…

I have place it outside and continue to water it hoping that it may come back to life - when I snap one of the branches off there is still a bit of green in its veins… any ideas on a way to get it to come back?
