There was a time when there was no facebook and all you knew about a “friend” was what he or she told you in person or over the phone - you might get a sense about their likes or dislikes if you were to spend time at their home but now… now we get a whole new view of people we thought we knew…
People use facebook for different reasons… some people use it to let people know about parties or events… some people may use it for posting pictures of the family or hobbies.. but some people go a little overboard…
Some people use facebook as a bragging board or post some pictures that are a little to personal and in some case embarrassing.. I have to admit that some of the newness of facebook has worn off a little bit…
I rarely visit my personal page anymore but do check my wsls page daily… I’m not judging how people use the “social networking tool” I’m just saying sometimes it causes me to look at my “friends” a little differently than I would have before facebook ever existed.
