Every year I make a trek to that big discount store that everyone shops at from time to time to get a new planner for the year… the kind I like has a small spiral binding and allows you to look at the entire month on two pages…
I don’t want an address book… I don’t want a contact listing… I don’t want the big spaces for the days of the week… the kind that only allows you to look at one week at a time… I don’t like the three ring binders… I don’t want flowers… I don’t want stripes… or polka dots… I want a plain non-descript thin planner that contains my entire life in little 2x2 squares… where is it this year?!?!?!
I searched the big discount store out by Valley View and when I didn’t find what I was looking for I searched the big discount store on Route 220 (which is where I normally find this particular item) - at both stores I found what must be the updated version of the $6 dollar planner that I had grown accustomed to… but this one is a monthly and a weekly… uggggh!
All of the other ones left were either really pricey… or just plain juvenile (with pockets for your favorite 4x6’s that “say the most about you” on the front)
What is the point here? I guess sometimes we get used to things and just don’t want to change… even if it is just a planner… I am sure this one will be as useful as any…
