I may have to try a boot camp class in Roanoke that everyone in the news room is raving about… Jay has been going for the past few weeks and keeps asking me… I keep saying no… but in part because I don’t do very well with classes and am easily intimidated in groups of people I don’t know…seriously… I know this sounds like a big fat lie because of what I do for a living… but I don’t mind it for work.. for some reason it is different in social situations…
Never mind the fact that Jay and I are two of the most competitive people you will ever meet - so I told him that if we have to pair up with anyone for the drills etc… he has to be my partner… there is nothing worse than being odd person out when everyone pairs up for something… I really hated P.E. class as a child… that is why running suits me.. mindless… one foot in front of the other… not much coordination required…
