As I get older I enjoy my birthdays less… but at the same time… I am thankful for another year and find myself in a place in life that feels as close to perfect as I can get… I am blessed in so many ways… my husband… my family… my career… the list is endless so I won’t continue…
Someone said the other day that she was turning “29” and made it sound like she only had one more year left before the world would begin to crumble… that is so not true… my thirties have been some of the best years of my life… I got married just before they started and it has been pretty much nothing but bliss ever since.. there are times when I wish I knew in my 20s some of the things I know in my thirties… I would have wasted a lot less time and heartache on issues and circumstances that ultimately ended up making my life as wonderful as it is right now…
I have a feeling that I will be saying the same thing when I am in my forties and fifties… there is always more to be learned… that’s just living.
