Virginia’s DMV 2 Go needs publicity plug

I pitched a VOSOT (TV speak for a 45 second story the anchor reads; there’s also a soundbite with a stakeholder in the story) this morning on the DMV 2 Go.

It’s a big bus the DMV owns that houses most of its services.

The DMV brought it to the Blue Ridge Independent Living Center on Monday.

It’s a very impressive outreach from the DMV that I’ve never heard of before.

I don’t remember seeing any news releases about it or other publicity.

One of the staff members on the bus said the DMV’s had this mobile system up and running in our area since August.

Well it’ll be on the news tonight.

The DMV’s website reads that it’s open to bringing the bus to a bunch of different places.

I’ve included a link here.
