In case you missed it, I don’t read from a teleprompter that often, which is why I seem to screw it up!
Now I’m not downing myself. I’m just kidding around.
I’m like the Tim Tebow of the teleprompter; I’m horrible in the first half, decent in the third portion, and finish strong in the end.
Tonight I added a line that wasn’t in the teleprompter so it threw the operator off a little bit.
I fumbled and paused momentarily (although it feels like five minutes when you’re on live TV).
I called my producer and asked her to give me another chance on the set.
Let me tell you, it’s not as easy reading off a teleprompter as news anchors and some politicians make it look!
I’ll get better though.
The producer said she’d give me another chance.
