Preparing for snow coverage

We’re preparing for whatever might come tomorrow (snow, wind, ice).

All the photographers are taking their cars and gear home.

Not normal since usually only one photographer is “on call” during the week.

I took a truck and gear home last night.

It’s just easier to mobilize everybody in the morning just in case the weather gets really out of hand.

In case there’s anything we need to get to early.

It’s often worth it.

I’ve gotten called out to weather-related accidents on the interstate, flooding in the New River Valley, and that’s just two I can think of off the top of my head.

Any wind event tomorrow could get crazy.

I remember the big wind storm we had two years ago that, as I recall, was right around this part of February.

It caused walls to collapse, a huge wildfire in Roanoke County, and several other problems.

It seems like we always get at least one of those wind events every year.
