I’ve learned that Morgan Lockett will make one more court appearance this week before she will likely be put on the waiting list to enter the Virginia Department of Corrections system, then she’ll eventually be transferred to a prison where she will remain for much of the next four decades.
The judge wants to tweak a few things he ordered regarding her sentence.
It needs to be done on the record since it is in circuit court.
I’m told the amount of prison time in her sentence, 40 years, will not change.
It’ll be Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 in Roanoke city circuit court.
I’m planning another set of stories regarding the case of Aveion Lewis that I hope to have ready for air in early February.
I think you’ll find it interesting.
