I’ve had enough of Steelers LB James Harrison

I’m still trying to figure out how a guy can be such a beast on the field and such a wuss off of it.

But so it is for Steelers LB James Harrison.

And I’ve had enough of him.

James… it’s time for you to own it!  Own up to your mistakes!  Just like how it’s the game statistician’s responsibility that when you get a sack, you get the credit.

This is the same guy who tweets, in the moments after the league announces his one game suspension for an illegal hit on Colt McCoy, something to the effect of “LOL! ... I’m just going to get ready for the next game.”

I’ve also had enough of all the analysts and former players at ESPN who keep sticking up for this goofball.

The hit against Browns QB Colt McCoy last Sunday was inexcusable.

If you’ve seen the play and want to defend Harrison, I don’t see how that’s possible.

I would even submit that if Harrison would’ve hit Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers like that, he might’ve gotten a two or three game suspension.

And if you’ll notice, Harrison always blames everyone for his troubles but himself.

“I got suspended!”—- Well that’s the NFL’s fault.

“I got fined!”—- Well it’s the guys who came up with the rules fault.

“I’m not getting what I wanted out of the NFL lockout!” —- Well that’s the commissioner’s fault.

It’s sad because Harrison’s interception return for a touchdown before the half in Super Bowl XLIII is one of my favorite plays of all time in any sport.

And now I can’t watch it without that feeling in the pit of my stomach of knowing what a knucklehead Harrison is.

Harrison’s next illegal hit will carry a suspension longer than one game.

I think Harrison will do it again because he’s just too arrogant to understand.

And when that next suspension comes it’ll all be James Harrison’s fault.
