I’m okay with anonymous sources

I’ve said it before and I will say it again… I’m okay with anonymous sources.

I’ve listened to several “analysts” (meaning ex pro jocks) on ESPN radio the past couple of hours lambaste the three anonymous sources who spoke out against New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.

The three anonymous sources were basically called cowards by many of those on ESPN.

I think the opposite.

I would submit it’s a form of leadership.

These three players obviously thought something needed to be said to correct the course of Sanchez and the organization; or else they never would have said it.

A countless number of stories—- good stories—- stories that result in change—- would never be told if we never used “anonymous sources.”
