Some random thoughts from a guy who is about to have sand between his toes, a hot girl (my wife) on his shoulder, and a beverage in my hand (maybe both hands, you never know!)
It’s not Michael Vick’s fault police are investigating some shenanigans at his birthday party just like it wasn’t the Titanic’s fault for hitting the iceberg. It was the driver’s fault. I just don’t know when Vick’s going to learn that. He needs to start associating himself with people who care about him.
One year ago today I remember I was setting here at my desk when the news about Michael Jackson hit the AP wire.
Not that I’m trying to start an argument here but how do you think most in the national media would have reported it if President Bush would’ve conducted foreign policy over a meal of cheese burgers and fries? It’s time for the national media to remember they’re covering the office, not just the man (and that goes for my colleagues on both the right and left sides of the aisle).
Fox and Friends has officially gone off the rails. What do I get up and see this morning but Howard Stern’s Robin Quivers giving insight on the day’s news topics. Really? In my mind MSNBC’s Morning Joe is still the best bang for you buck (after WSLS 10 On Your Side’s morning show with Dawn and Patrick goes off of course) in the morning. Yes I know my “right” friends, it’s MSNBC, but Morning Joe is the most center minded show on that network and, most of the time, all views are explored and each guest is paired with a counterpoint guest.
