Official predictions for this weekend:
Goody’s Fast Pain Relief 500:
We all know the Hendrick cars have dominated her for the past few years. I really don’t expect this one to be any different.
It seems like the Hendrick team always reacts to changes better and faster than any other team.
I don’t think I’m going out on a limb here when I say Jimmie Johnson will win for the second straight week and continue his short track domination.
And for all you WVU fans we have in the market:
Kentucky vs. West Virginia
CBS has smartly put this as the late game Saturday night.
The Mountaineers will likely try to ugly this game up, slow the tempo.
The Cats proved against Cornell they can play that kind of tempo and still win.
Kentucky’s inability to consistently make free throws concerns me because WVU will send them to the line.
Nobody runs Bobby Huggins’ 1-3-1 zone in the SEC that I know of.
It will be difficult to prepare for in only 24 hours.
Edge to West Virginia in a close one:
West Virginia 68, Kentucky 66.
