Baby I’m back!
And *baby* is the key word there.
We welcomed the newest player to Team Leamon on June 22nd, Tucker James Leamon.
This is my first work day since June 21st… the longest amount of time I’ve ever taken off in my near 12 year career.
Things are going well.
Tuck has been doing the usual baby thing… sleep all day… up most of the night.
He’s been awake from midnight to about 3 AM the past two nights… but we’ll make it!
He’s still a bundle of joy!
I’ve missed a lot of big news stories and I’m anxious to weigh in on some things that happened while I was out, which I’ll start doing soon.
As I write this, Casey Anthony has been acquited of the murder charges in the Caylee Anthony case.
I can’t say I kept up with much of the trial so I hesitate to write much reaction.
I can say that in similar cases I’ve covered, though none exactly like Casey Anthony’s, it has been difficult for prosecutors to prove first degree murder, so I’m not surprised the jury voted to acquit on that charge.
I suspect she’ll get by with time served for her obstruction convictions and could be free by as early as the middle of this month.
