What’s happening this week… Sept. 6th?

What’s happening this week… Sept. 6th?

Of course the week is starting on Labor Day, which is the unofficial start to the fall campaign. And as such, we’ll be kicking off a lot of our campaign coverage this week. In fact, Tuesday, we’ll have Dr. Bob with his weekly Campaign Digest at 5, 5:30, and 6pm. I’ll be continuing with more Fact Checks on the campaign ads. And, on Saturday, I’ll shoot the third of four candidate profiles. Here we go!

This also marks the beginning of the college football season. As many of you know, I’m a graduate of TCU and a very proud Horned Frog. TCU started the 2010 season ranked #6 after an unbeaten regular season in 2009. Saturday, in front of a packed Cowboys Stadium and a national TV audience, TCU beat #24 Oregon State in the season opener. The Horned Frogs looked great and I have a lot of confidence now that we might have another unbeaten season!

The rest of my week (what’s left of it) will be spent on shifting the house from summer to fall. This includes some big cleaning projects, a little maintenance, and some bulb planting/clearing of flower beds. There’s always something to be done around the house!

That’s the week… as I see it now.
