What’s happening this week…
First off… my mother is here. She flew in from Texas for a 10 day vacation in the Star City. We have a low key week planned. I’ll be working while she’s here, but we still will have lots of good meals, some fun shopping, a few Scrabble games, and a lot of good laughs.
This is all leading up to my 20th high school reunion. I am having a little trouble believing it’s been 20 years since I was a senior… those were the days. I loved high school. I’ll have more on this later this week.
From a news perspective, the week appears to be a slow one. Most holiday weeks are. Of course, now that I’ve written that, I’ve doomed us to a week of breaking news. It always works that way.
All in all, it should be a fun, holiday week…
