What’s happening this week… Aug. 23rd.
First off, I’m back from a great week at the beach. It was my annual trip to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. It’s a great, simple, down-to-earth place. It’s one of my favorite trips. If you haven’t been there, I highly recommend it.
I start back at Virginia Tech this week. As many of you know, I teach broadcast writing at VT. I’m looking forward to a new group of students. The fall is usually more fun than the spring. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s how elections can spark conversation about politics and media coverage with the students. Maybe it’s football. No matter, I’m looking forward to a new semester.
Saturday, I’m heading to Danville for my second candidate profile shoot. It should be the perfect setting to showcase this candidate. After that, I’ll have two of four shot!
Aside from all that, the rest of the week will be spent getting back into the groove of work, working out, and house chores. Sadly, my summer of vacations is over!
