Update: Sidewalk Project

I have an update to my blog posting of last month about the sidewalk construction going on in front of the newly renovated Cotton Mill in downtown Roanoke.

NOTHING has changed. It’s weeks later and one lane is still blocked after months and months of construction. Sure they’ve made a little progress, I suppose. But the cones are still there. The barrels are still there. The equipment is still there. Sigh.

How long does it take to put in some new sidewalks? At this rate the sidewalk project may take longer than the actual renovation of the Cotton Mill!
