Purple day… GO TCU!

You may have noticed that I was wearing purple again today. Fort Worth’s mayor declared Friday purple day and for good reason. TCU is playing in the premier game of the day Saturday.

The Horned Frogs will take on the Utes of Utah at home. TCU is #4 right now and if they can prevail in this game… they will likely be headed to be BCS game (assuming they can win out with games against New Mexico and Wyoming). This is HUGE for TCU.

When I was in school there in the early 1990’s, we were happy to have a winning season. The year after I graduated we played in our first bowl game in what seemed decades against Virginia… and lost.

Since then, TCU’s program has been building. This decade, we’ve been a consistent top 25 program. But, this year is our year… if we can win out.

So… it’s another big game for TCU and I couldn’t be any more excited… or nervous!
