Proud to be a Horned Frog

So… I have to give my TCU Horned Frogs props. They pulled off the upset over the weekend, defeating #5 Boise State.

Boise had an impressive record going into this game. In fact, they had not lost a single home conference game dating back to 1998. That’s a 13 year winning streak. They came into the game on a roll as one of the few undefeated teams left in the country which had vaulted them into the national championship chatter.

TCU, on the other hand, had fallen out of the top 25 after disappointing, close losses to Baylor and SMU. We are definitely in a rebuilding year and few if any people gave us much of a chance to win Saturday.

But, the Horned Frogs did it through grit, guts, skill, and a little bit of luck.

TCU will leave the Mountain West Conference after the season, and if they win out, they’ll leave once again as the conference champs. And, they will have secured that title with a thrilling victory over Boise State on the smurf turf!

Well done!
