Lines out the door at the Post Office

So, I am a little perplexed over the US Postal Service’s consistent claim that they aren’t making money.

Have you been to a post office lately? I tried to go to two different locations Saturday, my neighborhood office (Raleigh Court) and the main Post Office off Williamson Road. Each had a line out the door. It was insane.

I figured it was just Saturday and that I might be less crowded on Monday. Well, that wasn’t the case. The line was still almost out the door at the Raleigh Court Branch and the lady behind me said the 419 branch had an hour wait.

All of that leads me to wonder why the US Postal Service isn’t making money. Really?
