Well… I’m back. As I mentioned in my last blog, I was on vacation for the last week of February. And it was an incredible vacation.
I took a cruise that docked in four Central America ports: Guatemala, Belize, and Cozumel and Costa Maya Mexico. I guess you could call my time on the “mainland” an eco tour. We did zip lines through the rain forest and went tubing down a river completely ensconced in a massive cave in Belize, hiked the Mayan ruins outside Costa Maya, explored the ocean’s floor 100 feet down in a submarine, and took a three hour boat tour (no it wasn’t on the SS Minnow) of the largest river in Guatemala.
Every one of those experiences was amazing. And, they all had a vital role in the economies of the individual countries. Based on the amount of tourism dollars flowing in, all the countries have moved to protect vast swaths of their historic sites, forests, and water bodies. They have resisted an effort to chop down trees, pollute rivers, and bulldoze over ancient buildings and carvings. Really it’s the best of both worlds. We tourists get to witness and explore the best of what these countries have to offer while the countries get to preserve their history and rugged terrain.
If you can’t tell, I had a great time. There were only two downsides: I came home to 9 inches of snow and a brought home a cold. But trust me… it was worth it.

It is important for any business to maintain public awareness. Without public awareness, people will not know if a certain business or operation exists. Before, public awareness can be achieved through a number of traditional marketing strategies such as direct mailing techniques, telemarketing, and direct response television marketing. These methods were very effective during its time. However, due to staggering increase of mailing and advertising, people hesitate before employing such techniques.

Just so you know I dont think you are on anyone’s side. I watched the news and saw how you made the poor employees at Circuit City look bad. I heard you tell one of them that they would not find a job. I mean how would you feel if you lost your job. I think you should give them more credit it was hard for them to work there and hold their heads up. You should have offered them some understanding that would have been better of you to do.
