Okay… is anyone else a little worried about this winter? We are well below normal and have already had our first snow and we’re still two weeks away from the official beginning of winter.
I’ve been here 12 years and when I first moved here I actually expected cold weather of this nature. I figured I was moving to the mountains so snow must come with that. Boy, was I wrong! In fact, in a dozen years, I can only remember a couple of big snow storms.
I’m from the Panhandle of Texas originally, and we get Kansas-esque winters. Trust me, my family sees more snow that we do every year. But, I’m wondering if 2009-2010’s winter will be different. If the first week of December is any indication… the answer will be yes!
