More than 1500 people showed up to have their book signed by Sarah Palin in Roanoke on Sunday. Some of them arrived 26 hours early and braved a cold night outside the Barnes and Noble. Yes, the camped out with nothing more than blankets and folding chairs.

Last week I mentioned that my alma mater, TCU, had a HUGE game against Utah that would likely determine the fate of the Horned Frogs’ season. I was nervous, as Utah was #16 in the nation and looking to derail #4 TCU from its hopes of becoming a BCS buster.
