I often try to avoid blogging about some of the more controversial comments made by politicians in both parties. A lot of the comments are simply silly and not worthy of much more than a passing mention. It’s better left to the talking heads on MSNBC and FOXNews.

Today is June 31st. Yes… evidently there are 31 days in June. I swear it’s the truth, at least according to my desk calendar. So, it must be true… right? Imagine my surprise today when all month long I had been planning on my calendar that included 31 days in June, only to find out that there are only 30. Yes, there’s a printing mistake on the calendar.
