What’s happening this week… June 28th?

First off, I’m still thinking about my weekend. It was great. I was a guest for the Miss Virginia Pageant. I have to admit that I’ve never been much of a fan of pageants, but seeing it live was quite a different experience. In fact, I had a great time. I was impressed with the hard work these ladies go through and I had fun laughing at some of the theatrics of the night. All in all, it was a wonderful night in the Star City. TCU makes us proud once again!

Once again in the same school year I am a proud Horned Frog. Of course TCU had a magical football season this year (minus our first BSC Bowl Game). The team played inspired football, won lots of accolades, and proved to the country that little TCU was a worthy contender.

What’s going on with Gen. McChrystal?

So, all of Washington is waiting to see exactly what President Obama will do with General Stanley McChrystal. If you haven’t heard, McChrystal is under fire for a series of unflattering statements made by him and his staffers about President Obama, Vice President Biden, and a host of administration officials. It all appeared in a Rolling Stone article and so far McChrystal hasn’t denied any of the quotes.
