Inspirational evening honoring some heroes in our community

I just got back from the Children’s Trust Golden Halo Awards Celebration. What an inspirational evening. We honored nine people who are making a huge difference in the lives of the children in our area. These unsung heroes range from teachers to police detectives to social workers… and attorneys.

Roethlisberger’s punishment: fair or not?

Today’s news out of the NFL has me a little torn. It was announced that Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be suspended from the NFL for six games this season for conduct that was unbecoming to the NFL.
