Goode is out, what does it mean?

The candidates for governor have now survived their first encounter… the annual debate at the Virginia Bar Association’s Convention at the Homestead. Wilder up to same games in this year’s gubernatorial race

A recent article on the POLITICO website reported that the Obama Administration sent its political director to Richmond to meet with former Virginia Governor Doug Wilder. The reason: to convince Wilder to endorse the Democrat’s candidate for governor, state Sen. Creigh Deeds.

Warner tells WSLS first of his support for Sotomayor

Monday, Sen. Mark Warner gave a speech supporting the nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor for the US Supreme Court. But, WSLS was the first to learn of Warner’s decision following a news conference in Roanoke earlier that morning.
