In exactly two months, I will be an alumni of Virginia Tech.  I can’t believe it. It feels like yesterday I was sitting on the football field graduating high school.

At the beginning of this semester I was excited to be graduating.  It’s now reach a point of being sad, scared, and excited all at once.  So far, I haven’t found a job, my lease runs out May 31, and I have a serious boyfriend that is adding to my worry about what’s going to happen.

Finding a job is stressful but with the way the economy has been I’m worried about things being avaliable or about me getting hired, then immediately fired just because I’m the newbie and they can’t afford to keep people on.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed I can find something I like doing in a place I want to live.

Then there’s moving out.  My roommates are messy and I’m super neat.  I’ve moved numerous times since my dad was Air Force and my roommates have been in the same houses their whole lives.  The last apartment we moved out of, I was the only person who cleaned anything and we got charged $2000.  I don’t want to have to scrub for days and days to make sure its spotless so we don’t get charged as much.  I also don’t want to fight with my roommates to ge them to clean either because thats just another stressor.

I know things will work out. I’m confident I’ll be able to handle everything that comes my way but it doesn’t keep me from worrying and stressing a little about it!
