And it is out just in time for Valentines Day-a sure way to get every single and married woman to think twice about decisions they’ve made.
The author is a 42 year old woman who back in her 20’s dated a lot of men but always found something “wrong” with them-waiting for that perfect man to be waiting around the corner. The book urges women to settle…and not end up alone like she did. At 42 she is getting married…but says to all those women out there who want a husband and babies…you’d better hurry up!
If you’re fine with being alone…then fine, she writes.
As a woman in my late 20’s, I find this book very interesting. I haven’t yet formed my opinion on whether I agree or disagree with her. I think many women have that perfect vision in their heads..and for many women that perfect man never comes. He doesn’t exist. But what about that man that is great but maybe not everything you’ve always wanted? Is that “settling” or just accepting reality?
She points out young women have lived with “Sex and the City” episodes and now have a jaded sense of reality. It’s a lot easier, she says, to prance around town in fun clothes drinking cosmos when you’re 22 rather than 42. And for us young women..we will be 42 before we know it.
So..with that said..do a google search on the book. Let me know what you think. It’s an interesting one that is for sure.

Try Julie Klausner’s new book: “I Don’t Care About Your Band: What I Learned from Indie Rockers, Trust Funders, Pornographers, Felons, Faux-Sensitive Hipsters, and Other Guys I’ve Dated” instead.
