If you’re like me and love to cook, you probably dream of having an amazing kitchen.
This weekend, I’ll get to be in a few of Roanoke’s fabulous kitchens. I’ll be helping out with the Fourth Annual Kitchen Tour. It benefits Virginia Amateur Sports and Get Healthy Virginia but unofficially, it benefits my desire to work in a kitchen fit for a chef!! I’ve already been to one of the homes and can’t wait to see the others.
There’s a lot to be offered, remodeling ideas, professional ideas and of course, cooking demonstrations. I’m lucky enough to be the sous chef for Suzy Fortenberry as she puts on demonstrations. I haven’t met Suzy yet but I’m told she is as they say, “the hostess with the mostess.” Even her simple dishes are elaborate and delectable!! I can’t wait.
