I never thought my memory was so short.
I had to take my car into the shop to have some work done. Thankfully, they gave me a loaner until I picked it up the next day. I didn’t pay attention until I pulled up to a drive through to grab a quick bite to eat…I reached for the door handle to push the button to let the window down. There wasn’t one. It’s been a while… but not that long since I had manual windows. I mean, the gift of power windows didn’t come my way until 2004.
I rolled the window back up after getting my lunch and heading home. Son in tow, I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV… my now black and white TV. No, it’s not that old, it’s just on the fritz. It warms up in about 20 minutes and the color returns. It’s the longest 20 minutes ever!!
