Stroller Recall

Sometimes I’m glad I work in news because I tend to see a lot of the recalls that come in right away. This one is of major concern as I have two of these strollers… a single and double. If you own a Maclaren Stroller, stop using it right away and call the company to get a fix for the problem. Here’s the number… 877-688-2326. You can also do it on line but when I tried to do it the day the recall was announced, the website was down.

At any rate, Maclaren is recalling about 1 million strollers after reports of fingertips being cut off by the stroller’s hinge mechanism when it’s opened or unfolded. The recall involves all Maclaren single and double umbrella strollers… that means the Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport, Quest Mod, Techno XT, TechnoXLR, Twin Triumph, Twin Techno, and Easy Traveller models

Don’t take a chance.. get the cover to protect the hinge before you put your little one back in for a ride.
