New kitchen gadgets

I love getting anything I can use in the kitchen. My husband filled my Christmas stocking with a few fun items I can’t wait to use.

When I make taco salad boats, I usually throw ears of corn on the grill along with the chicken, then struggle to get my knife through the ears evenly to get the kernels of corn off the cob. I think my husband just saved me the trouble with a pair of corn zippers. I didn’t even know they existed until I saw them!! I can’t wait to use them.

Also, ever use a pastry brush only to find strands of bristle falling off in your food? I’ve seen—but never had until now—a pastry brush with silicon “bristles.“ It’s awesome!!

I’ve also got now, shears for cutting herbs from my garden. The best part about them is there’s a contraption on them that helps you strip the actual leaves off the stem. That will make life cooking even easier.

Great job, honey. I love them all!!
