More than a burger

You gotta love the holidays when more people are outside lighting up the grill. I light up the grill all year long though, even cooking my Thanksgiving turkey over charcoal…. YUM. But sometimes, nothing beats a burger.

And the best burger I’ve ever made, is one I came across on the food network several years ago. On the rare occasions I crave beef, this is my go too. It’s got stage presence… It seems like a lot of work but it’s so simple and sooooo worth it. Simple burger, dressed up with a garlicky aioli and peppery arugula, and of course meaty portabella mushrooms. If you’d prefer to keep it vegetarian, skip the beef. Here’s the recipe.
