I spent Sunday enjoying the outdoors. My daughter and I were invited to go on a bike ride with friends. They had a trailer to tow my daughter along with their son right along behind. Thank goodness because I have not ridden a bike in what seems like forever. The last time I rode one was several YEARS ago on my honeymoon. My husband and I rented them and spent the day riding around the island.
Anyway, it really was like riding a bike. It came right back to me… although there was that moment where I almost drove into the wall of a tunnel!
It was a great afternoon… guilt free because you can do it with the whole family and not feel bad leaving the kids at home! Now we just have to get a trailer of our own and a bike for my husband so we can all go. I’d love to do it soon so we can check out the fall foliage along the way.
