It sounds simple enough but I’d never thought about it. As I dove into potty training my youngest several months ago… I never thought I’d ever see the day where I would wish she’d be back in diapers after ditching them. That was, until we went on our first post diapers road trip.
Instead of, “Are we there yet,” it was, “Mommy, I have to go potty. NOW.” Of course, when nature called, it was always when we were in the middle of no where, with no bathroom for miles.
While swapping stories with another mother, she suggested taking our now stored potty with us. We put it in the back of the SUV, along with a bottle of disinfectant, toilet paper, towels and bag and were set for our next 300 miles!!
